Polyester Needle Felt Filter Bag

Polyester needle felt filter bags are a commonly used material in bag filter systems. Polyester filter bags are preferred due to their cost-effectiveness and reliable operation in many industry conditions. They have particularly high solvent and oxide resistance, while also having moderate acid resistance. Weight values are available in 400 and 500 grams per square meter. Made from 100% polyester, the filter bag has an internal weave and is resistant to tearing and tension.
In its manufacture, polyester fibers are transformed into fabric using a needle punching method, and then immersed in hydrophobic liquids to acquire water and oil repellency. Therefore, it is also called a needle felt filter bag. The polyester filter bag, which becomes shiny and smooth as a result of one side being gassed, prevents dust from adhering to it. Moist and oily dust entering the bag system is easily dropped off using a blowtorch, without sticking to the bag.
Polyester filter bags, with a continuous operating temperature of 150 degrees, function without problems in sectors operating at normal temperatures. However, in systems operating at high temperatures where the incoming air and dust can melt the bags, Nomex filter bags must be used.
